First of all, I love the content. Creative, intimidating, filled with details to keep your eyes wandering and good eye flow throughout the piece to compliment the detail. This was an instant fav <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":-)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="392" title=":-) (Smile)"/>

I felt you made excellent use of ambient lighting, although I would have liked to see some higher contrast from your main light source (the one out-of panel on the right). Some bright, contrasting light on the main trunk would help it pop out more from the mid-ground, bringing it clearly into the foreground and your background further back. I think you could also create a greater sense of depth (and atmosphere) by peppering some high-contrast lighting on the top-left branches. I also feel that making that first hill behind the trunk a little darker would create depth as well.

All around, as an RPG fan, this picture inspires many daunting stories just DYING to be told ^__^ oh, terrible puns.
