It's nice to see a mingling of concepts like death with a little recreational personal relatability.
I'd hate to be the god of death and like seeing him at peace in a vast and beautiful universe, everything is as it should be <3

I love the whimsical way so many of your pieces tell a humorous little macabre story.

Thank you very much. I think that humor and horror pretty much goes hand in hand so it is natural for me to include both at the same time :0)

Ha ha ha.

This would what Death would do when (or rather, if) he (ever) retires -- fly-fishing!

I love how you picturized The Grim Reaper in a cuteish way amidst an idyllic scene. He's using the scythe as a fishing rod! And dipping his skeletal toes in the cool water, yay!

Not sure if it inspired you, but there's a similar (and equally funny) scene from the Terry Pratchett book "MORT" (Discworld series), where Death gets bored of his usual work and leaves it to his new assistant (Mort), and retires to partake of the pleasures of the world, including drinking... and of course, fly-fishing! :D

Great painting here, I like it! ;-)
